Hello Mommies!

Today I am sharing with you a simple no mess recipe which you might like to try for your toddler/kid.If your child has little bit of cheese or rice liking then s/he is certainly going to enjoy this one.It can be used as a snack and can be given in lunch as well. There are two versions of this recipe and ofcourse you can mould it as per your child’s taste .

So lets learn this super easy Rice ball recipe

  •  100 gm boiled rice
  • Veggies such as carrots and beans or whichever your child is fond of
  • Cheese
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Method and Preparation:-

    • Step 1 -Pressure cook rice and add all veggies in it
    • Step 2- When cooked (they should be little more cooked  than your usual rice)
    • Step3 – When cooled add cheese in it.I use amul cheese slices  you can use any cheese of your child’s liking.
    • Step4 – Make small balls and you are done

One can have many variation in Rice balls. For example, I had some boiled rice with me so I added some grated paneer(Indian cheese) in it and few boiled veggies.I added bit of salt and black pepper and made balls out of the mixture.Fry them in any oil of your choice.

I prefer to use the non fried one in the lunch box as they stay soft till lunch time but fried ones hardens a bit. This might be because of the temperature out here but you can always try it out .

Below is the picture which I took with my mobile so pardon the quality.
