I am here with another interesting recipe I prepared for my toddler girl. It is Daliya Cutlet recipe which tastes yummy and due to the crunchy crust of these cutlets, toddlers find it great to feast upon!
Daliya, as well all are aware, is basically crushed wheat grain which is used as a popular breakfast in many parts of the world. Since it is hand milled or processed from whole wheat, it is considered a great source fiber food which ensures proper bowel movement. Wheat is an essential part of diet for toddlers as it provides energy & essential nutrients for the proper growth and development of the toddlers.
Daliya can be used both as a sweet by combining it with milk into daliya kheer or a namkeen daliya dish. Both are yummy and easy recipes which toddlers find very interesting to eat.Being a complex carbohydrate rich food, the rate at which the glucose breakdown takes place is comparatively slower which makes it and ideal food for weight watchers. The high fiber content in Daliya keeps the child filled up for quite sometime.
I have also tried making it as a sweet recipe and my daughter liked it well! This time I thought of trying a different thing from Daliya, so I prepared this dish. I hope you like it as it is easy to prepare and tastes yummy!
