Easy Cheese Cake Recipe For Kids

Kids absolutely love desserts like ice cream, pastries, different types of cakes and muffins. They simply can’t resist the sight of these yummy desserts. Well although too much sugar intake during early days of childhood is not considered good, but mommies can take note of that and invent some dessert recipes on their own and prepare it at home for their little munchkins rather than buying it from outside as that contains a lot of artificial sweeteners.

So, here we will be talking about yet another yummy food i.e. Cheesecakes. Cheesecakes can be prepared without baking as well and don’t require much time in preparation. Unlike the usual baked cakes, cheesecakes are prepared in less time.

So, here we go with some yummy recipes and different cheesecakes-

Chocolate Cheesecake



Another irresitible edible item for kids in chocolate and kids love to hog upon chocolate in any form! So this is a quick and easy chocolate cheesecake recipe for kids.


  • Cream cheese (150g)
  • Dark chocolate (150g)
  • 4 eggs (separate egg white & yolk)

Method of Preparation-

First of all preheat oven to 180°C (140°C fan-forced). Grease and line the base of the cake tin in any desired shape.

Now place the cream cheese and chocolate in a bowl and place it over the saucepan with simmering water . This will help the chocolate and cream cheese to melt. Now stir both the ingredients until they both melt completely. Next step is to beat the egg yolks and set aside.

In the mean time, beat egg whites until soft peaks are formed. Gently fold through chocolate mixture and pour all it all into the greased- cake tin.

Now place the cake tin in a large baking pan. And pour enough water so that it reaches halfway up the side of the cake tin.

Now you have to bake this mixture for 30 minutes. Turn off the microwave and leave for a further 15 minutes without opening the door.

Remove the baking pan after 15 minutes and allow to cool at room temperature. Next step is to refrigerate it overnight.

After refriderating it for about 8-10 hours carefully run a knife around the cake to detach it from the tin.

Now turn the cake on a serving plate. Serve the cake to kids with double cream and fresh fruits of your choice.

They are going to love it like anything.

Oreo Cheesecake



Oreo cake is another favorite recipe which kids demand for every now and then. Here is an easy cheesecake recipe with oreo.


  • 2 packs of Oreo biscuits (for the base)
  • 3tbsp melted       butter (unsalted)
  • 500g cream cheese (for filling)
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 pack Oreo biscuits (roughly broken)

Method of Preparation-

First of all preheat oven to 160°C and line a slice tray with baking paper and keep it aside.

Take two packets of Oreo biscuits and butter into a food processor and process until it becomes fine crumbs.

Now press into the base of the slice pan and level it with flat botton glass or bowl. Bake for 10 minutes and keep it aside to cool.

Next thing you need to do is to prepare the filling. For that beat the cream cheese until it becomes fluffy and light-weight in a mixer.

Mix the sugar, sour cream, vanilla and salt and beat it thoroughly with the egg and egg yolk until blended completely.

Stir through the chopped Oreo’s and slowly pour the mixture over the base.

Bake the mixture for 40 minutes and leave to cool in the tin at room temperature. As it cools dow refrigerate for about 7-8 hours.

You can also cut in into slices and serve to your kids!
