Glycerin is a mild and non-toxic compound which is utilized at home for various skincare needs. It is suitable for super soft and sensitive skin. Glycerin is even excellent for allergic skin. The use of glycerin is also recommended by skin specialists in treating minor skin problems like dryness, redness and cracked skin in kids mainly due to the drastic change in the climatic conditions.
Rose water is yet another ingredient used by most mothers to freshen up their skin and tone the open pores of the skin in a natural way. This is quite soothing and heels cracked skin without irritating sensitive skin. Rose water tends to have a nourishing effect on troubled skin areas and also helps in retaining back the normal skin texture.
Toddler skin is soft and so one cannot simply try the harsh products that are available in the stores for baby skincare unless it is well tried before. So if you wish to take care of the toddler skin in a more safe way then it is advised to use these two ingredients together or individually as these ensure that the skin problems gets resolved within few uses and there is no irritation on the toddler’s skin.

The moisturization provided by glycerin & rose water is certainly better than any manufactured body lotion or cream.
Since these are harmless ingredients, the homemade lotion of glycerin and rose water in a ratio of 1:2 can be easily prepared by moms at home and can be used for the body areas which get maximum exposure.
