Quick Celery Soup Recipe For Kids
Celery has gained popularity in India and especially among health enthusiasts. Celery is rich in many nutrients but it is full of vitamin K. Besides this, it has potassium, fibre, molybdenum, folate and manganese. Celery has more vitamins like A, B2, B6 and C. It also contains calcium, copper, phosphorus and magnesium. These nutrients make celery a super food. You can give celery to your kids in soups and salads. Soups are yummier for kids and here is how you can make Quick Celery Soup For Kids-
You Will Need
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped roughly
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme (optional)
- 1 head of celery, cleaned & chopped roughly
- 1 white potato or 1 cup cauliflower, chopped
- 1 litre of vegetable stock
Here is the simple recipe:
Heat oil in a pan and add onion and garlic in it. Cook till they turn soft.
Add in the rest of the ingredients and the let the mixture simmer for 20 minutes.
Let the mixture cool down and then take it in a blender.
Blend till you get a smooth soup.
You can serve it now or you can heat it before serving.
